Optical Electronics Manager,
Huntington Beach, CA

Manage, supervise and guide engineers (optical and electronics group), and cost estimators. Carry out our ongoing projects by managing the design stages thru to prototype building and testing. Responsible for managing the technological development (style, function, quality, safety and installation) of night vision equipment, including selection of starting design form, design optimization, performance evaluation and generation of fabrication of the latest generation 2+ and 3+ models. Supervise development and alteration of new and/or existing designs and generation of drawings according to customer specifications and needs. Responsible for determining if the products could be made safer, easier to assemble and use, and cheaper to manufacture. Review drawings and designs established by manufacturers contracted by the company to ensure that all company products fulfill the applicable engineering requirements and standards, as well as confirm with the company’s written policies, practices and procedures.
Report to the Vice President of Operations.

Master's degree in Industrial Management, Management, Economics, Engineering or foreign equivalent is required.
