Check out the new Vulkan 3 Thermal Biocular

The Vulkan Series thermal imagers have always been the benchmark in its class! We’ve taken it another step with the new Vulkan 3 thermal biocular. Our focus was to build a system that featured a high level of performance at the forefront but also be much lighter weight for extended periods of use. High grade OLED displays and ultra high quality US made germanium optics work together with our custom thermal cores to deliver excellent imaging with rich contrast! Though it is difficult to translate real world performance from the confines of our industrial park, it is easy to see that details and textures are abundant !

Panther 336 Appears on Hawaii Five-0

Panther-1Night Optics sent a Panther 336 to the production team over at CBS TV Studios Hawaii for filming on an episode of Hawaii Five-0. The episode aired on May 6, 2016. While it appears only for a breif time, it was during a pivotal scene in the final act.

Spoiler Alert: Five-0 Police detectives use thermal imaging to determine the number of armed bad guys inside the house where a young girl is being held hostage. They time it perfectly so that all 3 detectives take out the 3 bad guys all at once. The scene concludes with the ring leader holding the little girl at gunpoint while Five-0 detectives set up another shot to take him out as well.
